The effort to strengthen the extroversion of businesses and the cooperation between Greek and Turkish tourism enterprises has led to the organisation of businessONtravel, which aims to establish an institution of pre-arranged bilateral business meetings. With the initiative of ARTION Conferences & Events, the business-to-business event will take place on 6 – 7 April 2012, in Istanbul, and is expected to capture the attention of numerous businesses and organizations from the broader field of tourism.

Participants will have the opportunity to expand their business activities by presenting their products and services, and to create partnerships with businesses from the neighbouring country. Inter alia, the business delegation will include representatives of hotels, accommodation facilities and campsites, transportation businesses, tourism and travel agencies, congress and alternative tourism enterprises, car and boat hire companies, hotel equipment businesses, restaurants and catering facilities, thermal springs and spas, diving centres, organizations involved in tourism promotion, museums and tourist sites, as well as ITC companies active in the tourism sector.

<strong>Kavala Air Show
For the second year running, the Kavala Air Show is being organized by the Municipality of Kavala, in collaboration with the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace and all local authorities, as well as AOPA Hellas (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) and ‘Egnatia Aviation SA’ Flight School, on 22 – 24 June 2012, within the framework of the annual celebration «Eleftheria tis Polis».

Last year, over 20,000 people gathered along the main promenade that is over 3.5 km long. This aviation event was organized for the first time in 2011 and delighted the audience in Greece, leading to plans for its continuation. A large number of private planes and hydroplanes will arrive at the capital of Eastern Macedonia for a spectacular display.

KAVALA AIR SHOW 2012
Ο Δήμαρχος της Καβάλας κ. Κωστής Σημιτσής σας προσκαλεί να ζήσετε το αεροπορικό Υπέρ Θέαμα KAVALA AIR SHOW 2012. Θα γίνει στην θαλάσσια περιοχή, μπροστά από το λιμάνι της πόλης το τριήμερο Παρασκευή Σαββατο Κυριακή 22, 23 και 24 Ιουνίου 2012.

Αεροπλάνα, υδροπλάνα, ελικόπτερα, αερόστατα θα γεμίσουν τον ουρανό της Καβάλας σε ένα εντυπωσιακό υπέρ θέαμα. Αεροσκάφη σύγχρονα, με δορυφορικά συστήματα ναυτιλίας. Αεροσκάφη παλαιά της εποχής του Β Παγκόσμιου Πολέμου. Μονοθέσια αεροσκάφη, που μπορούν να προσγειωθούν οπουδήποτε. Αεροσκάφη ακροβατικά, αεροσκάφη εκπαιδευτικά, ψεκαστικά, αντιχαλαζικά και κάθε μορφής ιπτάμενες συσκευές

Το 2011 περισσότεροι από 20.000 θεατές παρακολούθησαν το φαντασμαγορικό υπέρ θέαμα. Περισσότεροι από 40.000 θεατές αναμένονται φέτος, στις 22, 23, 24 Ιουνίου 2012.

Σημειώστε τις ημερομηνίες. Το κλείσιμο των ξενοδοχείων για την εκδήλωση αρχίζει την Πέμπτη 1 Μαρτίου 2012. Επίσης από την ίδια ημερομηνία θα αρχίσει και η αναλυτική παρουσίαση της εκδήλωσης.
